![]() ![]() Unless they can evade, it's very unlikely your cover tank will survive the first to cover the second without very specific team builds.ĭo you have any dupes for physical DPS chaining? Hopefully you can luck into a 5* base phys dps at some point. The most likely outcome of experimenting is that Shiva will murder you turn one by using two consecutive high damage physical AoE attacks. If you can't do either of those things, you may not want to waste your energy until some alternate strategies get documented. That is is substantially more difficult.įor either solution, you'll need a mana battery as Shiva will randomly Osmose your party members. If you can't do that, you want a 200% frost resist Magic Cover tank (or more if it will carry Ifrit) and your other characters buffed enough to survive the physical AoE. As long as you Bushido Freedom the debuff off your party every time it's applied while keeping your Cover and Frost buff up, you'll eventually clear the boss. Don't give the carrier dual wield either. ![]() Your lowest attack unit other than your cover tank and Marie/Min should carry Bushido Freedom (from the Gilgamesh fight) to clear the 100% frost debuff applied at each threshold. The easiest way to do it is with an Evasion Cover Tank (Basch, WoL, Charlotte, or anyone + Illusionist Nichol), everyone in the party at at least 30% natural frost resist (and you may want to add a tad more - odd things happened to me there), plus Marie or Minfilia's frost resist buffs to take your whole party to 100%. Shiva's a complete other level of beast and you'll want to take the time to make sure your party is tailored perfectly. and a provoke off-tank to eat the physical attacks. ![]() ![]() As noted, Ramuh is doable with a high Lightning resist magic cover tank (Chow, Mystea, Shylt). I was able to get both Ramuh and Shiva down. ![]()
